Children's Bedroom Murals

The main cost factors are the size of the room/wall and the amount of detail involved. There could also be added costs if the client wants specialist paints such as gold, glitter, silver, eco-friendly paint etc. or if travel exceeds 100 miles from Berkshire.

Spot murals can start from as little as £95, though as a general rule of thumb, pricing is around £250 per day.

What is a spot mural?
A spot mural is a character or object that is painted onto the wall without a background added. Or it can be just a very small section (spot) of the wall, that's to be painted. Because spot murals don't cover much of the wall, they are a cheaper alternative to having a full mural and yet they can still drastically brighten up any wall or bedroom. (see example pictures)

How long do murals take to complete?
Again this depends on the size of the wall/room and the detail of the painting. It can take from anywhere between 1-3 days per wall so a whole bedroom could take from 4-12 days to complete (although some smaller nursery rooms with a simple design could take less than 4 days).



Preparation

If you're having a mural painted in your home then it's a good idea to take down any wall-hanging pictures, posters, paintings or nails from the walls before Brendan arrives. It is also recommended that you move any furniture from the room or push large furniture into the centre of the room, as this will save him time (and save you money).

Where does Brendan work?
Brendan is based in Berkshire but travels all over the UK and Ireland painting. He will however, travel for commissioned work outside of the UK, but this will depend on the size/amount of murals you wish for him to paint. For any further questions feel free to email or call Brendan.
